Green Campus
Greenery inside and around the campus
Sustainability is at the centre of everything we do at Nish-Chintha and is the embodiment of everything we stand for. From peacocks walking around our lush green compounds to adjacent paddy fields and ponds, we live in sync with nature. With participation from our families, we are also engaged in farming and gardening activities.
Flora and Fona
Nish-Chintha has about 14 Acres of land and another 6 acres of paddy field adjacent to it. The green campus attracts many species of birds, from peacocks to tiny humming birds. Many migratory birds too come to our campus. Vast paddy fields and thick vegetation of trees around is an ideal location for these birds to happily fly around. Variety of plants in the campus make it very bio-diverse...
Ponds
Within our campus, we have two ponds, one having an area of 1.25 Acres, and the second one with an area of 150 sq. M. These ponds mean a lot to our ecological system. They not only play critical role in bio-diversity, but also provide source of water for our campus. In the larger pond, we intend to do aquaculture activities and the smaller one, we are planning to create a water recreation hub.
