NAtional Centre for Assisted Living and Skill development
At Nish-Chintha we are setting up a NAtional Centre for Assisted Living and Skill development (NACALS). In addition to providing services to our own children, NACALS will offer training, therapies, skill development and assisted living training services to public.

The ultimate goal of Nish-Chintha is to make our "special" children as independent as possible. For this, we intent to start training for assisted / independent living for our children. Care needs are different for different persons. Understanding the care needs and training them to live independently is a challenging task. We are planning to start this activity on a priority basis.

Care Centre
Vocational activities are very important and integral part of a rehabilitation programme. At Nish-Chintha different vocational activities are designed to engage as well as provide skill training for the beneficiaries. In addition to engaging them, it also provides means for earning. Major vocational activities at Nish-Chintha are: Soap Making, Envelope Making, File Making, Cooking. And Baking.

Therapy Services
Skill development and vocational activities go together. Vocational activities are more of engaging in nature, but skill development activities are enriching in nature. Many of our beneficiaries show keen interest in cooking and baking, office work, care activities, gardening and games. Groups of similar interests are formed and they are given skill training in the areas of their interest.
